Restofolks is a social networking app for discovering people, building connections, and messaging. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.

- Profile information such as name, city, date of birth, email, languages, bio, education, work details, interests, and social usernames if provided.
- Profile photos uploaded by users.
- Connection requests, saved profiles, blocked profiles, notifications, and messaging information.
- Device information required for push notifications, such as Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage user accounts.
- To show profiles in discovery, search, connections, saved profiles, and chat screens.
- To send connection request, message, and app notifications.
- To improve app reliability, safety, and user experience.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell user personal information. Profile details that users add may be visible to other Restofolks users as part of the app experience. We may use trusted service providers such as Firebase and Google Cloud to operate authentication, database, storage, hosting, and notifications.
Data Storage and Security
Restofolks uses Firebase and Google Cloud services to store and protect app data. We use access rules and authentication controls to help prevent unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect user information with reasonable safeguards.
User Choices
- Users can edit their profile information in the app.
- Users can save, block, or remove connections using app controls.
- Users can delete their account from the app drawer settings.
Children
Restofolks is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to remove it.
